Nike Sportswear at the Montalban Theater

Nike has opened a unique retail installation in the heart of Hollywood at the Montalbán Theater. Starting in August and running until October 31st, the historic theater will play host to special programming by Nike Sportswear, and starting today, consumers will be able to buy select Nike Sportswear clothes and shoes from the space.

True to its legacy as the oldest functioning theatre in Hollywood, Nike Sportswear at the Montalbán will host film screenings every Tuesday night starting on August 12th with the L.A. premier of Beautiful Losers, a documentary film, which celebrates the spirit behind the influential DIY cultural movement. Other screenings include Adam Yauch’s Gunnin’ For That #1 Spot and a special showing of the classic documentary Tokyo Olympiad.

Hurley has been super excited with our foil printing method as seen in the 2 window applications below. They also had us cover all the walls of their town hall with adhesive backed vinyl.

Nike’s Innovation Space

The Nike Innovation Space provided and opportunity to connect with key US media outlets, including USA Today, ESPN, Sports Illustrated and the Today Show, who were unable to send a representative to the Global Beijing Innovation Summit. Journalists were given an in-depth briefing on Nike’s breakthrough footwear, apparel and equipment designs.

At Nike’s Culver City office, this space was covered with mostly adhesive back vinyl prints and a torch was cut out of 1″ foam to give it a 3D appearance.
